What is Bimetallic injection barrel?

Barrelize Bimetallic injection barrels are made of two alloy metals. The first metal is the base material and the second metal is the coating material.  So the bimetallic injection barrels have better corrosion and abrasion resistance, more durable, and last longer than non-bimetallic ones.

How to make bimetallic injection barrels with two metals ?

Barrelize use an advanced gas furnace to centrifugally cast the lining alloy on the inner surface of the barrel, which greatly provides high surfacing bonding strength, and improves the resistance of the bimetallic injection screw.

What's the specification of Barrelize Bimetallic injection barrell ?

For the first base material, you can choose 38CrMoALA and 42CrMo. For the second metal, Barrelize can offer you iron-based alloy, nickel-based alloy, tungsten carbided alloy.  Barrelize can make the thickness of the bimetallic layer : 1.5-2mm. The hardness of an iron-based bimetallic injection barrel can reach HRC60.

The general advantage of Barrelize bimetallic injection barrel: corrosion resistance and wear resistance, improve the strength resistance to fatigue, and finally improve the lifetime.

What is the application for Barrelize Bimetallic injection barrel?

Additive plastic materials with less than 30% glass fiber, corrosion formula, regrinding resin, calcium powder filling, additive fireproof materials, nylon, PVC, PC, PPA, PPO, PPS, PA6T, LCP, ABS, bakelite, fire PC+ glass fiber, Nylon + glass fiber.
